Add users to your program by uploading a user datafile (e.g., from payroll) or by adding users individually.
Import users

Click on ‘Settings’
and locate the ‘User management’ tab.

Click on ‘Users’ to open the ‘User management’
screen.
- Click on ‘Import data file’.
- Click on ‘Download’ to obtain a CSV template file that will help you organize your data.
- Make a copy of your data file and then edit it so that the columns in your data file match the columns in the template file. Columns in your data file that do not occur in the template file should be deleted. Columns in the template file that do not occur in your data file must be completed / filled in.
- If you do not have a data file, you may use the template to create one.
- Fill in the user details as required.
- Unique Identifier - unique user number for internal HR tracking purposes.
- Username - we recommend you use the user's email address (this is used to log in to the platform).
- First name - user first name.
- Last name - user last name.
- Work email - enter the user's company email address.
- User role - enter one of the following user roles ‘staff’, ‘manager’, ‘administrator’.
- Recognition Manager Name - this will be the manager who will approve nominations.
- Recognition Manager Email – linked manager for reporting purposes.
- Direct Manager Name – approver's email address
- Direct Manager Email – reporting manager's email address
- Deleted - indicate with 'Y/N' if user is deleted or not
Save your template-aligned data file as a CSV file. You may now drag and drop the data file or browse to its location on your computer to upload it.
If there are any issues with your data file, such as invalid data or formatting errors, you will be notified.
NOTE: Only semicolon delimited files are accepted.
You may continue working while the user import process is taking place. You will receive an email notification and report once the process has been completed.
Previous imports can be found in the Import history.
Export users
- On the ‘User management’ tab, locate the ‘Export users’ button.
Clicking this button will create a CSV file of all users.
