Your campaign goals will be informed by your organizational strategy and objectives. Campaign goals are achieved by implementing programs. Note that because different program types exist, you may have more than program in your campaign.
Below you will find step-by-step instructions on how to set up a program for your campaign.
Add a program
Basic information
- Click on the ‘Settings’ icon

- Select the ‘Program management’
tab.
- To create a new program, click ‘Add new program’
- Add basic information by entering:
- The program name
- A brief program description
- A start and end date
- A measurement category, e.g., goals, values OKRs, KPIs, KPAs, etc.
- Click ‘Save and exit’ to store your program setup for another time. To complete the program setup, see ‘Edit program’, or
- Click ‘Next’ to continue.
Participation rules
Permission to receive recognition
- To give all users recognition-receiving permissions, tick the box ‘Everyone’.
- To give recognition-receiving permission to specific users, un-tick the ‘Everyone’ box and add users or departments individually
Permission to send recognition
- To give all users on the program recognition-sending permission, tick the ‘Everyone’ box.
- To give recognition-sending permission to specific users, un-tick the ‘Everyone’ box and add users or departments individually.
- To give recognition-sending permission to the same set of users that have recognition-receiving permission, tick the ‘Same as receiving’ box.
Permission to view recognition
- To give all users on the program recognition-viewing permission, tick the ‘Everyone’ box.
- To give recognition-viewing permission to specific users, un-tick the ‘Everyone’ box and add users or departments individually.
- To give recognition-viewing permission to the same set of users that have recognition-receiving permission, tick the ‘Same as receiving’ box.
- Click ‘Next’ to continue, or
- Click ‘Save and exit’ to store your program setup for another time. To complete the program setup, click the three dots at the end of the program’s entry in the ‘Program management’ screen and select ‘Edit’. (See ‘Edit program’).
Measurement
Add new metric
- Click on ‘Add new metric’ to open the ‘Add new metric’ dialog.
- Give your metric a clear and descriptive name.
- Add an icon to your metric by clicking the ‘+’ above your metric’s name. You can add your own icons (sizing 200x200; transparent background, as a .png or .jpg format) or choose from the predefined metric icon library.
- Provide a ‘Metric description’ that clearly explains what is being measured.
- Click ‘Save’ to add your new metric to the list.
- Repeat as necessary, for all the metrics you will be using on the program.
- Note: To edit, deactivate or delete a metric, click the three dots at the top of the metric’s card

Edit a metric
- Clicking on ‘Edit’ will open the ‘Edit metric’ dialog.
- Here you will be able to select a different icon from the library or upload a custom graphic for your metric.
- Edit the metric name, if necessary, and provide a clear description of what the metric is measuring.
- Click ‘Save’ to finalize your edits.
- Click ‘Next’ to continue, or
- Click ‘Save and exit’ to store your program setup for another time. To complete the programme setup, click the three dots at the end of the program’s entry in the ‘Program management’ screen and select ‘Edit’. (See ‘Edit program’).
Program summary
- Verify that the details you have entered are correct by checking the ‘Program summary’.
- Click ‘Back’ if you need to go back and change any of the measurements, participation rules, or basic details.
- Click ‘Save and exit’ to store your program setup for another time. To complete the program setup, click the three dots at the end of the program’s entry in the ‘Program management’ screen and click ‘Edit’. (See ‘Edit program’).
- Click ‘Activate’. Your new program will be added to the list in ‘Program management’.
