Convert nomination

An approval-based recognition (nomination) can be converted to a recognition that does not have a reward component by the recognition manager.

Convert recognition 

1. Click on the ‘Navigation menu’ icon
2. ‘Review nominations’ is the first item under the user profile. The number displayed indicates how many nominations need to be reviewed. 
3. Clicking ‘Review nominations’ will open the nominations overview page. 
4. Open the relevant nomination by clicking the ‘Review’ button when hovering over the nomination.
5. When the nomination loads, click the ‘Select action’ dropdown to choose what to do with the nomination. You can Approve or Convert the nomination to a simple recognition. 
6. Click ‘Convert’ 
7. Select a reason for the conversion from the drop-down directly below 
8. You can add additional comments, if required. 
9. Click ‘Submit’ at the top-right of the page. 
10. This nomination post will be converted to simple recognition (no reward) and will then be posted to the newsfeed. 

The user receiving the recognition will be notified by an email containing the recognition message and the awarded points (if applicable). The receiving user will also receive an in-app notification (bell icon).
